Epidemiologists in Georgia are urging city residents to stay home

 The Georgian population should stay at home to avoid the need to impose restrictions.
The statement came from Georgian Health Minister Ekaterina Tikaradze at a briefing, Sputnik Georgia reports. He said:
"I urge people to stay at home, be careful that we do not have to impose other restrictions."
At the same time, the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze said that the call to stay at home is especially for the elderly and people with chronic diseases living in Adjara and large cities.
He also called on the people of Adjara to wear masks on the streets, despite official restrictions, and for the entire population to work as remotely as possible.

The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Georgia has reached 7,093, 3,714 have recovered and 46 have died.
