The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has verified the information spread by Sky News Arabia and the BBC about the sending of 300 Syrians from Turkey to Azerbaijan, which was allegedly confirmed by a US Defense Department official. The Russian General Staff has determined that this is a false report by the Armenian media.
According to Gadin.Net, a Russian scientist, who did not want to be named, told Axar.az, citing a source in the Russian government.
"If that was the case, then this information would have been posted on the Pentagon's website. "Also, the latest information from Karabakh shows that there are no terrorist groups and individuals," the source said.
