According to reports, the enemy, which has suffered heavy losses as a result of heavy fighting in recent days, is facing a serious shortage of personnel.
The statement came from Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Vagif Dargahli.
"The reason for this, along with the large number of casualties, is the demoralization of the personnel of a number of frontline units of the Armenian armed forces, and the general refusal of many servicemen to fight.
The growing number of casualties and the lack of reserve forces have forced the Armenian Defense Ministry to appeal to the country's women. A women's battalion has already been established by the Armenian Defense Ministry and is currently being staffed.
