The Belgian king's illegitimate daughter has finally received the title of prince
Delfina Boel, the illegitimate daughter of former King Albert II of Belgium, received the title of princess after a long struggle.
According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by RTBF.
The Brussels Court of Appeals has ruled that Boel, 52, has the same rights as other members of the royal family. He will now be able to carry the title of prince and the surname of the Saxon-Coburg-Gothic dynasty. His sons Josephine and Oscar were also considered princes of Belgium. It is noted that they will now be referred to as "His Majesty the King".
In January, Albert II confirmed that Delfina Boel was his biological father.
Boel has been fighting for DNA analysis since 2013. However, at the time, Albert was the head of state and could not appear in court as a defendant.
Boel's mother, Baroness Sibyl de Seli Longshan, claimed to have been Albert II's mistress from 1966-1984. According to him, his daughter hid her father's name from him until she reached the age of majority.
Jacques Boel is considered to be the ex-husband of Dolphin's legal father Seli-Longsha. He had long since divorced his wife and probably lost his daughter's inheritance.
