Near the Colombian city of Puerto Colombia, fishermen found a woman who went missing two years ago in the middle of the sea.
According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by The Sun.
Fisherman Roland Visbal and his friend Gustavo reportedly saw a woman drifting into the water while fishing. After the rescue, it was learned that the woman was in the water for about eight hours, very cold and impatient.
It was impossible to learn anything but the woman, she just cried. The fishermen took the woman to the hospital. It turned out that it was 46-year-old Angelica Gaitan, who was wanted by her family two years ago.
Gaitan later said she suffered from domestic violence that began in her first pregnancy and lasted for 20 years.
"My husband beat me, insulted me and was cruel to me. Violence continued during the second pregnancy, but I could not leave her because my daughters were children. "
The Colombian woman repeatedly told police she had been beaten, but her husband was only detained for a day, then released, and the attacks continued.
Gaytan said she left home in September 2018 after her husband tried to kill her. He was placed in a shelter on the streets of Barranquilla after six months. After being taken out of there, he became deeply depressed and threw himself into the sea. Fishermen also found him in this case.
However, the woman's family denied the allegations. Her daughter Alexandra said her father had never been violent.
"We don't know who attacked him and how he fell into the sea."
He said his mother had been suffering from heart problems for years and was suffering from mental disorders after a heart attack.
Currently, the daughters are collecting money to return their mothers to Bogota.
