"There are 1.5 million students aged 5-14 in Azerbaijan. In general, the detection of the virus in 19-20 people is a small percentage "
The statement came from Education Minister Emin Amrullayev at a briefing, Gadin.Net reports.
According to him, in some cases, parents are diagnosed with the coronavirus, but they send their children to school:
"It then closes the classroom for 14 days. You can't do that, you have to be responsible, you have to follow the rules. It is not possible to say what will happen in four or eight weeks due to the pandemic.
Therefore, the idea that there will be no school in two weeks should be justified, because it is alarming and there is no need to complicate the situation.
The Minister noted that today students should study in schools where there is no threat, and teachers should come to class.
