On September 27, Armenian armed forces committed another military provocation against us. I warned them. I told them my words from the UN rostrum. I told the whole international community that Armenia is preparing for a new war, Armenia must be stopped. Unfortunately, the international community and the parties involved in this issue have not been able to exert the necessary influence on the Armenian government. If they cannot stop the aggressor, the Azerbaijani soldier will stop them. The Azerbaijani soldier will expel them from their lands and restore justice. I said that if the provocations against us in July and August are repeated, Armenia will regret it and I will keep my word. Today, the advantage gained on the battlefield, our liberated settlements, strategic heights show once again that the Azerbaijani soldier, the Azerbaijani officer fulfills his civic duty with honor.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev expressed these views at a meeting with servicemen wounded during the Armenian military provocation on September 27 and treated at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Defense Ministry.
President Ilham Aliyev said:
"Armenia must put an end to the policy of aggression. Instead, the Prime Minister of Armenia imposes conditions on us. He has set seven conditions for us. I said a while ago that we reject these conditions. We have a condition that they must leave our lands unconditionally, completely and immediately. This condition is in force, and if the Armenian government complies with this condition, the wars will stop, there will be no bloodshed, there will be peace, and peace will come to our region.
