The COVID-19 vaccine gives faster results in people infected with the virus.
The statement came from Alexander Gintsburg, head of the Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
The head of the center, which developed the world's first registered vaccine (Sputnik V), said that patients recovering from COVID-19 develop antibodies to the virus faster than healthy people.
According to him, the vaccine can be injected into the nose of children: "We will most likely use this method when testing the vaccine on children."
Meanwhile, Ginzburg said in a statement that the center was attacked by hackers during the preparation of the vaccine.
