The coronavirus vaccine, developed by Johnson & Johnson in the United States, caused a sustained immune response in the second phase of clinical trials.

It is reported that 800 people in two groups took part in the tests. The first included 18-55 years old, and the second over 65 years old. The scientists note that the results obtained are preliminary and have not yet been confirmed by independent experts.
The researchers found that 99 days after the vaccination, 99% of those who participated in clinical trials developed antibodies to the coronavirus. At the same time, fever, headache, weakness, body aches, and side effects at the direct injection site were mild to moderate and disappeared within a day or two. Scientists say the test results have allowed the vaccine to continue to develop.
It is noted that Johnson & Johnson has launched the third phase of clinical trials of the vaccine. The study involved 60,000 volunteers from three continents and eight countries. The company hopes that if the vaccine proves effective and safe, the first batches will be ready for certification in early 2021.
