In Cambodia, a rat has been awarded a medal for its bravery in searching for mines and explosives.
According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by The Mirror.
The rodent surveyed a total of 141,000 square meters and found 39 mines and 28 other substances.
It is also said that the rat, nicknamed Magawa, is the first animal to receive this award after dogs.
According to the publication, about six million landmines were planted in Cambodia during the 1975-1998 civil war. So the job of these animals was to save the lives of the inhabitants.
