"According to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the organization of mass events and the gathering of more than 10 people in one place is prohibited. There is a limit on the number of both open and closed spaces.
The statement came from Elkhan Mikayilov, advisor to the chairman of the Food Safety Agency (FSA), on the online program "Safe Food" on his Facebook page.
He noted that people who are in close contact with us both at funerals and weddings do not receive tea and food. These people often meet with each other:
"Usually, weddings and mourning ceremonies in our country become a meeting place for people who have not seen each other for a long time. This means that dozens and hundreds of people come into close contact with each other at these ceremonies, not just behind the table, but while standing and sitting. This is a very high risk for infection and can be really dangerous. ”
Mikayilov added that if the epidemic risk decreases, this issue will be considered:
"Today's decision is that mass assembly means mass communication. This creates a risk of mass infection
