Conscripts to be sent to active military service in the Republic of Azerbaijan in October 2020 were informed about their appointment to the Armed Forces by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription (SSMC) via SMS on September 25.
The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription issued a statement in this regard.
It was noted that, in addition, citizens can find out the military unit and type of troops they will serve in the "Electronic service" section of the official website of the SCRC (www.seferberlik.gov.az) in the sub-section "Information on the place of military service of conscripts". They can clarify the required information by entering it in the appropriate order.
It is also possible to get information about the call-up for active military service by sending a short message to the number "9100" from mobile phones by sending the ID card numbers of conscripts (in the new generation ID cards, including the series and number without spaces). This service is available to individuals with numbers belonging to all mobile operators.
According to the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on August 26 "On conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for active military service from October 1 to 30, 2020 and release of active military servicemen to the reserve", born in 2002 and up to the day of conscription (including the same day) 18 years old, as well as born in 1985-2001, up to 35 years old, not served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, not entitled to deferment of active military service or active military service Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have not been released from conscription will be called up for active military service from October 1 to 30, 2020.
