The statement came from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
He noted that there was a second wave of coronavirus in Ukraine.
"Therefore, the arrival of foreign citizens is prohibited. I think this is the right decision. We made this decision when the first wave started, and we were able to stop it.
At that time, we had 100 to 300 infections out of 40 million Ukrainian citizens. We now have 3,000 infections a day. Unfortunately, this is the second wave, "Zelensky said.
