162 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 133 people were treated, cured and released.
The statement came from the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
One person who tested positive for COVID-19 died.
Over the past day, 7,618 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 1,080,873 tests were conducted over the past period.
