"Currently, the situation with coronavirus in Azerbaijan is stable."
This was stated by Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of the Board of the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (DMAA), at a meeting of the Public Oversight Board of the Coronavirus Support Foundation (KMDF) on vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 virus.
It was noted that measures to combat the coronavirus in our country have shown results:
"Funds for the purchase of vaccines will be allocated from the KMDF:
"At today's meeting, the Public Oversight Board will be informed and, with the consent of the Council, funds will be allocated from the KMDF for the purchase of the vaccine.
R.Bayramli said that a strategy is being developed in Azerbaijan on who will be vaccinated against coronavirus:
"Azerbaijan is currently holding both bilateral and multilateral talks on coronavirus vaccination. Currently, nine companies in the world are in the third stage of vaccination preparation. Whichever of these vaccines is approved by international health organizations, Azerbaijan will be among the first countries to introduce the vaccine.
The chairman of the doctor noted that according to research, the vaccination of 20% of the population with coronavirus at an early stage can have a positive impact on the epidemiological situation:
"Azerbaijan is working on vaccines in two directions."
According to him, one direction is the production of the vaccine in the country, and the other direction is the import of the vaccine to Azerbaijan:
"Currently, the possibility of production of vaccines in Azerbaijan does not seem possible, not only in Azerbaijan, but in many countries. Therefore, the main direction is the import of vaccines.
