Another coronavirus vaccine will be tested in Russia
Russia's Health Ministry has approved clinical trials of another local coronavirus vaccine.
According to Vesti.ru, the drug was developed at the Federal Scientific Center named after Chumakov of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is noted that in the near future in Kirov, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk will begin testing on volunteers.
More than 3,000 people are expected to take part in the study, which meets the requirements of the WHO (World Health Organization).
At present, there is a Sputnik V vaccine developed at the Gamaleya Research Center in Russia. In addition, the drug, developed by scientists from Novosibirsk, undergoes clinical trials in the laboratory "Vector". In total, more than 20 types of coronavirus vaccines are being developed in Russia.
