Statement from the Mobilization Service on conscription
According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On military service and military service", military officers are routinely called up for military training while in reserve.
The statement came from Major Fuzuli Ismayilov, head of the public relations department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
He noted that one of the main tasks of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription was to call up reserve military officers for military training to improve their knowledge and skills:
"Currently, military training of reserve servicemen is carried out according to this plan. We remind you that according to the law, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription called up reserve servicemen and sent them to military units.
We appeal to the population and the public that the call-up of reservists to military training camps is not a cause for concern. We reiterate that this training camp is being carried out in accordance with the plan. "
