The situation on the line of contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops and in the direction of the state border with Armenia is being purposefully aggravated by the enemy.
The statement came from the Defense Ministry, Gadin.Net reports.
It was noted that the recent increase in gross violations of the ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces, regular firing on our settlements, civilians and infrastructure near the line of contact, the use of larger weapons, reconnaissance and sabotage activities against our positions, including drones. The widespread use of aircraft (UAVs) has led to a serious aggravation of the situation on the front.
"In all cases, enemy provocations were prevented by the use of Azerbaijani troops, and it suffered heavy losses. As a result of the activities of our air defense units last night, another enemy tactical air defense system was destroyed," the statement said.
