The coronavirus vaccine, developed by Russia's Vector Research Center, does not provide lifelong immunity. The vaccine has a shelf life of 6 months.
The head of the Department of Zoological Diseases, Alexander Ryzhikov, said in a live broadcast on Rospotrebnadzor's Instagram account.
He said that this period should be positively assessed: "Because we have not created a lifelong change. At the end of this period, it will be possible to re-vaccinate if necessary.
It should be noted that the Vector Center received permission from the Ministry of Health on July 24 to start clinical trials of the vaccine. The tests will be completed on September 30.
