The situation with COVID-19 in Europe is deteriorating.
The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for Europe Hans Klugge said at a briefing today.
"We are facing a very serious situation. The number of weekly infections exceeded the peak of the pandemic in Europe for the first time in March. More than half of European countries have seen a 10 percent increase in the last two weeks, ”he said.
According to Klugge, the disease was most common in people aged 25 to 41. In this regard, Klugge called on all European countries to show solidarity in the fight against the virus, and in support, attended the press conference in disguise.
