The proposed amendments to the Law on Social Benefits are aimed at stimulating the adoption of two categories of children who have lost their parents and are deprived of parental care, which are considered difficult to adopt.
This was reported to oxu.az by the Public Relations and Communications Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
It was stated that these are children with disabilities between the ages of 3-18 and 0-18. It is planned to establish benefits for the adoption of orphans and children deprived of parental care between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as for the adoption of children with disabilities.
The benefits will apply to children adopted after January 1, 2021.
It was noted that the main condition for determining the benefit is the submission of a valid court decision on adoption.
