There are a number of assumptions about Turkey's establishment of a military base in Azerbaijan.
The statement came from Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral, Qadin.Net reports.
Commenting on the Washington Post's claim, the ambassador noted that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have always developed and continue to develop in all directions:
"Turkey and Azerbaijan have helped and will help each other in all matters. Today we mark the 102nd anniversary of the liberation of Baku by Nuru Pasha and his army. This event is one of the historical proofs of brotherhood. I think we should celebrate our victory today and put aside such assumptions. "
