Professor Akif Gurbanov, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (MEDA), said he did not rule out that quarantine would be tightened again.
According to Qadin.Net, in an interview with Real TV, he said that the periodic softening of the Operations Headquarters increases the freedoms and contacts, which affects the number of infections:
"If the quarantine regime is completely relaxed, if people are given freedom, they should not be reassured. Sometimes we are psychologically affected by the fact that the subways are already open, the ban on intercity and inter-district travel is lifted, that is, the disease has decreased or not. People seem to be reassuring.
We have to think for ourselves: if we don't follow the rules today, we can still sit at home tomorrow. Quarantine can be tightened. The subway may not work again tomorrow.
If we do not follow the rules, if the number of infections increases, there may still be preventive measures. This is inevitable. "
