The number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Europe is expected to increase in the fall.
The statement came from Hans Kluge, director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, Qadin.Net reports citing publika.az.
According to him, a higher mortality rate is expected in October-November.
It should be noted that 4 million 84 thousand 62 infections and 212 thousand 583 deaths have been registered in Europe so far. 2 million 246 thousand 281 people recovered from the disease. There are currently 1 million 625 thousand 198 active coronavirus patients on the continent.
