A documentary on the victory of the Caucasian Islamic Army in Baku will premiere on Azerbaijani television.
According to the Social Media and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-Stock Company (AzTV), the documentary "Caucasian Islamic Army" will be broadcast on September 14 at 21:30.
The documentary will show some of the historical events in figurative form.
Real images were also used in the film. Thus, the "Caucasian Islamic Army" also contains real images of one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Mohammad Amin Rasulzade. These images were first broadcast on AzTV's "In the Footsteps of History" program.
The documentary was prepared by the "History" department of the AzTV socio-political program editorial office.
The screenwriter of the Caucasus Islamic Army is Mahir Garibov, the director is Mehpara Najafova, and the project manager is Sarvar Bayramov.
It should be noted that on September 15, 1918, the Caucasian Islamic Army led by Nuru Pasha and the Azerbaijani Corps entered Baku and liberated the city from Armenian-Bolshevik occupation. Thus, both the independence of Azerbaijan was ensured and the domination of Armenians and Bolsheviks in Baku and surrounding areas was ended.
