The videos spread on social networks about naming a subway station after General Polad Hashimov, who was killed during the Tovuz events, do not reflect the truth.
The statement came from Baku Metro spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov, Gadin.Net reports.
He said that it was not prepared by Baku Metro:
"We do not know who made the videos. However, such an issue is not on the agenda today. The Cabinet of Ministers controls the naming of metro stations. If there is official, accurate information in this direction, the public will be informed.
