The history teacher became the first winner of the program "Who wants to be a millionaire" in the UK for the first 14 years. Donald Fier, 57, earned one million pounds (AZN 2,175,148) in 20 minutes.

It is said that three of his assistants (jokers) remain until the last question. He found the answers to 13 of the 15 questions without looking at the options.
Interestingly, last year, Donald Fier's brother earned 500,000 pounds (1,087,574 AZN) in this program.
The history teacher said he would spend 70 percent of his earnings on his family and set aside the rest for his pension.
