A German man accused of trying to kill his roommate has proposed marriage in court.
According to Gild.Net, citing Bild, the girl agreed to his proposal.
Andreas, a 47-year-old locksmith, attacked his girlfriend Katerina B., 35, beat her, pulled her hair and tried to kill her.
In a courtroom in Bonn, he proposed to Catherine.
It is alleged that the move prevented Katerina from testifying against him.
The suspect is also the father of one of Katerina's three children.
