The Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to resume passenger traffic on the Baku Metro on September 14, 2020 at 06:00.
According to Baku Metro, in order to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and ensure the safety of human health, until the end of the quarantine period announced in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The activity of the Baku Metro will be ensured in accordance with the relevant decisions, instructions and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Based on the above, it is brought to the attention of passengers using the subway:
1. Passenger transportation activity of Baku metro is resumed on September 14, 2020 at 06:00 in the morning. Baku metro stations will be open to passengers from 06:00 to 24:00.
2. Baku Metro will operate in an intensified mode.
3. The movement of trains will be provided with the maximum schedule, taking into account the technical capabilities.
4. The operation of the passenger transport service using wheelchairs will be resumed.
5. In accordance with the "Guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus infection in public transport", medical masks must be used and social distance must be observed in the territory of Baku metro stations and trains. It is forbidden to use the subway without wearing a medical mask! Passengers are reminded that the medical mask should completely cover the mouth and nasal cavity.
6. Administrative liability shall be imposed for failure to use a medical mask.
7. Passengers will be required to wear a medical mask at the entrances to the stations.
8. The temperature of passengers entering the stations will be checked selectively by appropriate medical equipment.
9. In order to ensure the protection of social distance, use of medical masks, compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules, audio, visual, static methods of informing passengers will be used, warning signs will be placed on station and train seats, if necessary, passengers will be informed by means of communication and loudspeakers. .
10. Conditions have been created for the sale of medical masks to pharmacies operating in Baku metro stations.
11. Guides will be installed to protect the social distance of passengers, to ensure safe and orderly access to the subway. With this in mind, passengers are asked to maintain social distance and follow safety rules when entering stations, using medical masks properly.
12. Disinfection of stations and trains will be provided according to the schedule established in the previous order.
