As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the "Temporary Rules for the organization of teaching and learning process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime."
According to the rules, canteens (buffets) in other educational institutions, except for boarding schools, are suspended and students are recommended to eat in classrooms.
Canteens in boarding schools will operate under the following conditions:
an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is placed at the entrance to the canteen;
in the dining room, the distance between the table and chairs is at least 1.5 meters;
students are provided with means to wash their hands with plenty of soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after meals;
common items are washed with water and detergent after use and kept in clean condition until the next use;
the canteen employee follows the rules of personal hygiene, wears gloves and a medical mask;
queues in the dining room are separated by floor signs;
cooking utensils are not used for other purposes;
the preparation of meals for boarding schools, where it is impossible to ensure social distance in their kitchens and comply with sanitary-hygienic rules, shall be suspended, and ready meals shall be delivered to these institutions;
canteens / cafeterias operating in vocational education institutions are allowed to be used for educational purposes.
