A total of 13,800 places have been allocated for the second specialty group, of which 13,442 entrants can choose.
This was stated by the chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszadeh in a live broadcast in connection with the selection of specialties to participate in the competition for admission to higher education institutions.
He said that detailed information was reflected in the 4th issue of the "Applicant" magazine:
"A total of 13,800 places have been allocated for the second specialty group. 12,795 of them are full-time and 1,005 are part-time. The magazine also notes changes in planned places and specialties compared to last year. This year, the specialty "International Trade and Logistics" was opened in the second specialty group. 570 planned places have been allocated for this specialty. For example, last year there were 1,070 places in the specialty "Tourism and Hospitality", and this year there is no such specialty. But two specialties related to tourism have been added. One of them is the specialty "Tourism Guide" with 235 planned places and the specialty "Organization of tourism work" with 990 planned places. This year, about 1,200 planned seats will be replaced, compared to 70 last year.
M.Abbaszadeh also noted that the entrants will be able to choose according to their points:
"First of all, you have to decide whether you want to study in the regions or in the capital, and then you have to choose places based on your score. By making the right choice, you can choose the appropriate specialties by comparing the transition scores with last year's transition scores. In general, 13,800 places have been allocated for the second specialty group, of which 12,795 are full-time places and 1,005 are part-time places.
