Pensions for September in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron districts have already been paid.
The statement came from Rashad Mehdili, head of the Public Relations Department of the State Social Protection Fund, Gadin.Net reports.
According to him, pension funds were transferred to the accounts of pensioners registered in those cities and regions:
"Citizens can get their pensions from ATMs of these banks through bank cards issued by the International Bank and Kapital Bank.
Pensions for other regions of the country, as well as civil servants, military and special ranks will be paid on September 15.
