Doctors at Clinical Medical Center No. 1 say they did not receive the supplements they were paid for during the pandemic.
According to Gadin.Net, this was stated in a complaint addressed to the editorial office of Oxu.Az. Medical staff at Clinical Medical Center No. 1 claim that staff working with patients infected with COVID-19 were paid only in June:

"Some medical workers were not paid in June. However, we did not receive any additional payments for July-August. We do not know why the payment for July-August was not transferred. We are not given any information from the clinic or the relevant institution. The problem is not only with us, but also with the general staff. We risk our lives, we suffer, we have no day and night. This is our professional duty, we see it with all our heart, understand us correctly. But we also have a family, we have children. We have been working away from them for several months, working hard, and we do not demand anything more than we deserve. The President praised our efforts and gave the necessary instructions. We also want to pay the appropriate fees. ”
In response to a request from the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, it was stated that on August 18 this year, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan will participate in measures to combat new types of coronavirus (COVID-19) in July, August and September. It was decided to pay a fixed supplement to the salaries of medical workers:

"Previously, the relevant decisions on the payment of the term supplement covered March, April, May and June. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated August 18, the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance (Agency) paid 15,200 medical and non-medical workers a total of 19.1 million manat in addition to their working hours in July.

Currently, the process of paying periodic bonuses for July is underway. After the completion of payments in July, payments will begin in August in accordance with the lists sent by state medical institutions.

The question of how many medical workers were paid overtime by the agency in June was answered as follows:

"In June, 1,237 medical and non-medical workers of the Clinical Medical Center No. 1 were paid an additional 1 million 72 thousand 883 manat. It should be noted that a total of 14,784 medical and non-medical workers were paid 18.2 million manat in addition to their working hours in June.
