After the selection of vacancies for teachers, the selection of candidates who score the same points and choose the same place in the placement stage will be based on certain criteria.
The statement came from Eshgi Bagirov, head of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Education, speaking live.
He said that in this case the assessment will be different:
"In previous years, candidates' scores were recorded as a fraction, not a full one, as different scores were applied according to the difficulty of the questions. This minimized collisions during the placement of candidates with the same score in specific vacancies.
However, the analysis and scientific approaches to the assessment of test questions in this matter, the determination of the degree of difficulty of the questions were based on the subjective opinions of experts. Taking all this into account, it was suggested that each correct question be evaluated as 1 point. Each candidate sees the full score on the screen after completing the exam. In this case, there will be many collisions. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an assessment based on additional criteria.
According to E. Bagirov, according to the rules, if there are candidates who get the same points and nominate for the same vacancy, the evaluation will be based on other criteria mentioned by the candidates in their electronic applications:
"Initially, their qualification score will be taken as a basis. For example, if both candidates scored 55 points, a coefficient will be given to the candidate who answers the qualification questions more correctly. Thus, those who have an advantage over the other candidate will be placed in that vacancy.
We take into account that among the candidates who scored the same points and chose the same vacancy, there will be a large number of those who answered the qualification questions correctly. We also have to evaluate the second criterion. This criterion is an indicator of education. This means that between two candidates with the same score and the same number of correctly answered specialty questions, the candidate with the bachelor's or master's degree, as well as any academic degree, will be given preference according to these indicators. For example, if one of the candidates has a secondary specialization and the other has a bachelor's degree, 0.001 points will be added to the bachelor's degree, and he will be one step ahead. If both candidates have a bachelor's degree and only one has a master's degree, then a candidate with a master's degree will receive 0.002 points and will gain an advantage in the placement process.
At the same time, if any candidate has a doctorate or a doctorate, they will be evaluated with 0.003 and 0.004 points, respectively.
It is possible that there will be suitable candidates for each of these indicators. Therefore, the third evaluation criterion is envisaged. Thus, if both education indicators and specialty score indicators are the same for two or more candidates, their education documents will be considered. Candidates graduating with honors will be given extra points, which will give them an advantage in the placement process.
