139 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 128 people were treated, cured and released.
The statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
One person who tested positive for COVID-19 died.
So far, a total of 37,557 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 34,965 have been treated, 552 have died and 2,040 are active patients.
During the last day, 6,798 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 973,838 tests were conducted over the past period.
