The case was initiated by Ornapan Na Chiang Mei No. 24. He claimed that he had answered all the questions perfectly and should reach the final. When the jury excluded him and four other participants from the competition, other participants who were dissatisfied with the results of the semifinals joined them.
However, the final was initially postponed for an hour, and then canceled altogether.
The prize fund of 200,000 baht (AZN 10,818) was distributed among 10 semifinalists, including losers.
The crown of the "beauty queen" was not given to anyone this year.
