Tonight, starting from 00:00 on September 8, some restrictions will be lifted in cities and regions where there is a strict quarantine regime, as well as across the country.
Restrictions on travel to and from Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron districts are lifted (except for intercity and inter-district passenger transportation).
In accordance with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, in accordance with the relevant quarantine rules and the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On regulation of some issues related to the admission of customers to public catering establishments during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic" service is allowed.
Thus, the service will be provided within the catering facilities, taking into account the following cases:
- Taking into account the direct impact of overcrowding during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the intensity of the spread of the disease, the number of customers in public catering establishments should be twice less than the current norms and regulations and the area per capita should be doubled;
- In dining halls, rooms of public catering establishments, as well as in their open-air areas, the distance between the seats should not be less than one meter behind the same table, and the distance between the tables should not be less than two meters;
- The board in front of each public catering establishment should indicate the total area of food reception places (halls, rooms, etc.), the number of seats, the distance between tables, the density norms per capita;
- Public catering facility means a property complex used to carry out service activities related to the organization of production, processing, sale and consumption of food products (restaurants, cafes, canteens, snacks, buffets, kiosks, tea houses and other similar facilities) It is intended;
- Open air area of a public catering facility means an area completely open to air flow on all three sides (without any structures and other constructive obstacles higher than one meter) or a fully open area (under the open sky);
- At the entrances and exits of public catering facilities, cash desks should be able to use disinfectant solution, as well as the placement of appropriate devices (dispensers) for the use of disinfectant solution and the operation of these devices should be ensured.
