The Cabinet of Ministers amended Resolution No. 98 of March 17, 2020 "On approval of the" Rules for the phased payment of insurance premiums in 2020 at the expense of the state budget for compulsory health insurance. "
The decision was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Gadin.Net reports.
Thus, in the title and part 1 of the decision, the words "in 2020" were replaced by the words "in 2020 and 2021".
Thus, the decision will cover 2021.
The new decision also changes the rules for paying insurance premiums.
The amount of insurance premium per capita is determined in accordance with the "Sequence of application of compulsory medical insurance in administrative territorial units of the country" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 10, 2020 No. 136 as follows:
- for 2020 - 90 manats for administrative territorial units where compulsory medical insurance has been applied since January 2020;
- for 2021 - 90 manat + 90 manat x country consumer price index for administrative territorial units where compulsory medical insurance has been applied since January 2021, 67.5 manat + 67.5 for administrative territorial units where it has been applied since April manat x consumer price index for the country.
According to the previous decision, the amount of insurance premium per capita was applied in January-March in accordance with the "Sequence of application of compulsory medical insurance in administrative territorial units of the country" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 27, 2019 No. 504. AZN 90 for administrative territorial units, AZN 67.5 for administrative-territorial units applied in April-June, AZN 45 for administrative-territorial units applied in July-September, AZN 22.5 for administrative-territorial units applied in October-December constituted.
