The scope of general education is expanding in Azerbaijan.
According to Gadin.Net, amendments are proposed to Article 19.4 of the Law on Education.
According to the current version of this article, general education in Azerbaijan consists of primary, general secondary and full secondary education.
The draft law states that pre-school education in the Republic of Azerbaijan should be included in general education.
The bill also proposes to add a second sentence to Article 19.6 of the law.
It is written in the sentence that the general education school can be organized separately in the form of primary, general secondary and full secondary school.
The bill will be discussed at the autumn session of the Milli Majlis.
