Hidden cameras are usually out of reach. However, it is not possible to install it completely invisibly.
According to Gadin.Net, this was stated by Roman Soldatenkov, Director of the Department of Digital Economy at Synergy University.
According to him, the device can be found using the smartphone's video camera and flashlight.
"After turning on the video camera and flashlight, you should turn off the light in the room and gradually start to walk around it. It is important to check the ceiling areas, pass all the walls near the electrical outlets, "said the expert.
The expert said that if the smartphone does not have a built-in flashlight, then you need to find a portable one and illuminate it in the same direction as the camera on the device:
"If there is a hidden camera in the room, then the screen of the smartphone will glow."
Soldatenkov advised not only to shoot, but also to remember the cameras that transmit information.
According to him, in this case, the data can be stored on a device in another location:
"In this case, you can use mobile applications that record electromagnetic fields."
Soldatenkov advised to take a picture of the place if a video camera is found, not to touch anything around, and then to call law enforcement officers.
"They should help you understand who set up the covert device and for what purpose. If you find the camera in the hotel room and inform the administrator, the device will be removed, you will be apologized, but the problem will not be solved. It is possible that similar devices are in other numbers, "the expert concluded.
