As a result of preventive measures taken in Azerbaijan in connection with the introduction of a special quarantine regime and due to the responsible behavior of citizens, the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has been limited, the number of infections has been reduced.
As of August 5, some restrictions have been lifted and mitigation measures have been lifted in cities and regions where there is a strict quarantine regime, as well as across the country.
In accordance with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, it was decided to implement additional mitigation measures in the following areas from 00:00 on September 8, 2020:
- in accordance with the relevant quarantine rules and in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 237 of July 6, 2020 "On regulation of some issues related to the admission of customers to public catering establishments during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic" at 00:00 is allowed to provide services within public catering facilities;
- Restrictions on travel to and from Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron districts are removed (except for intercity and inter-district passenger transportation).
Based on the current sanitary-epidemiological situation and to prevent new cases of the virus, we once again call on everyone to comply with the requirements of the quarantine regime, medical and preventive rules.
