As the fall season approaches, flu vaccines are back on the agenda.
According to the Union of Medical Territorial Units, flu vaccines are planned to be introduced in the fall.
Suleyman Kamilov, a member of the organization's Infectious Diseases Working Group, says the vaccines build immunity in humans against the flu and are safe. It is even recommended for pregnant women. Vaccination will be voluntary.
Observations show that people's attitude to the vaccination process is ambiguous.
Suleyman Kamilov said that the flu vaccine does not play a direct role in protecting against coronavirus. But it prevents the weakening of immunity. This can boost the body's fight against COVID-19.
Suleyman Kamilov also noted that it is recommended that everyone use the flu vaccine from six months. It is not recommended to vaccinate children with severe infectious diseases, severe allergic reactions and children under six months. It is still unknown from which countries the vaccines will be imported, the price and whether they will be free of charge.
