What should you do if you see a bear in the forest?

There are some rules to protect yourself from a bear suddenly appearing in the woods.
According to Gadin.Net, RIA Novosti quoted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is said that when you see a wild animal, you should not panic, try to turn around and run, and look into its eyes. The predator needs to be frightened by something unexpected and big.
For example, you can shout loudly, throw a stone at an approaching animal, or take off your coat and shake it.
There are also ways to scare the bear, such as lifting your bag up or opening your jacket in a circle with the people next to you.
In general, wild animals stand on their hind paws when they want to better investigate the stranger they encounter and inform them of their existence.

If the bear stretches its lower lip when looking at a person and does not move forward, then the stranger must leave the area.

In this case, you must move quickly backwards without making a sound, without moving suddenly, and without turning away from the animal. But if the bear begins to follow you, stop and do not leave where you are.

When attacked by predators, it is recommended to lie down on the ground, curl up like a wash, and act as if you are dead. Stay in that position for as long as possible.

Rescuers say it is advisable to make noise, talk and throw stones while crossing the forest, in which case the predator hears that there is a man there.
