The decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated October 10, 2017 on the approval of the "Rules of Procedure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and the "Regulations on the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan" was amended.

According to the amendment, the report on the results of the President's instructions to the Cabinet of Ministers, local executive authorities, as well as public legal entities established by the President and the Cabinet of Ministers and state-owned legal entities, as well as public legal entities was submitted to the President. must be submitted.
According to Article 3.5 of the document, members of the Cabinet of Ministers must attend the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in person.
If a member of the Cabinet of Ministers is on leave or on a business trip, or is temporarily unable to perform his / her duties, his / her Deputy shall attend the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of structural units of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of local executive authorities, as well as legal entities of the state may also be invited to the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The second sentence was added to paragraph 3.5 with the following content: "Except for the cases chaired by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the members of the Cabinet of Ministers concerned shall take part in the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers."
By the decree of President Ilham Aliyev, there will be two Deputy Chiefs of Staff of the Cabinet of Ministers. Until then, he was a Deputy Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of Ministers.
