The professor said that the epidemics that began in the early 20th century ended with mutations that occurred more than two years ago. M. Ceyhan said that there are no expectations for the establishment of a mass immune system to end the pandemic: “The second possibility for the end of the pandemic is vaccination. The vaccine, which can only provide personal protection, may be released next year. Maybe there are several vaccines. But it is important to vaccinate the whole world to end the pandemic. This does not seem possible a few years ago. It will take years to produce, store and apply the vaccine. The only thing left is the possibility of mutation. The probability of mutation is higher.
He said the expectation was that the virus would lose its infectivity: "Because the thing that will put an end to the pandemic is not lethality, but the ability to infect."
