The life of the coronavirus is longer in the fall

Comparing the lifespan of the coronavirus at different times of the year, scientists have found that it lasts longer in spring and autumn.
According to Gadin.Net, the study was published in "bioRxiv".
It was found that in spring and autumn, coronavirus particles live on different surfaces for 17-30 hours. In summer, this figure is only 2-5 hours.
In this regard, experts recommend a high level of personal hygiene and regular disinfection of potentially contaminated surfaces.
Earlier, experts from Mount Auburn Hospital (USA) noted that the virus stays for a shorter time at relatively high temperatures (above 10 degrees), and when exposed to high ultraviolet radiation, SARS-CoV-2 particles become ineffective. According to them, other factors, such as humidity, have virtually no effect on the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the lowest prevalence of the virus was observed at temperatures up to 10 degrees Celsius.
