143 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 130 people were treated, cured and released.
The statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, Qadin.Net reports quoting axşam.az. Two people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.
So far, a total of 36,578 people in the country have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection, of which 33,977 have been treated, 536 have died and 2,065 are active patients.
During the last day, 6,597 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 928,666 tests were conducted over the past period.
