A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook the Caspian Sea on August 31.
The Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told Publika.az that the tremors were recorded at 00:35 and 01:35 local time.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 36 kilometers.
