The quarantine regime has been extended in Azerbaijan

It was decided to extend the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan until 00:00 on September 30, 2020.
The statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers: Gadin.Net reports.
The sanitary-epidemiological situation in the country has stabilized as a result of preventive measures taken to prevent the threat of a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as more serious and responsible observance of quarantine and hygiene rules by the population. , a sharp decrease in the incidence of infections has been achieved.
In accordance with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, since August 5, in the cities and regions where there is a strict quarantine regime, as well as across the country, some restrictions have been removed and mitigation has been provided.
At the same time, in order to consolidate the achievements, effectively protect human life and health, as well as the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in the world is still unsatisfactory, the special quarantine regime applied in the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 30, 2020 It was decided to extend it until 00:00.
Also, in accordance with the dynamics of the virus and the current sanitary-epidemiological situation, the cities of Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingachevir, Yevlakh and Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Salyan regions will be removed from the strict quarantine zone from August 31, 2020.
Some additional restrictions will still apply in Baku, Sumgayit and the Absheron region, where the incidence is high.
Restrictions on the activities of museums and exhibition halls across the country are being lifted.
Individual teaching and tutoring services are allowed in accordance with the rules of the special quarantine regime and in groups of up to 10 people.

The sanitary-epidemiological situation will be analyzed and the issue of full opening of inter-district traffic will be reconsidered.

In cities and districts with a strict quarantine regime, public transport will not operate on weekends on the following dates:

September 5 from 00:00 to September 7 from 06:00;
September 12 from 00:00 to 14 September at 06:00;
September 19 from 00:00 to September 21 from 06:00;
September 26 from 00:00 to September 28 from 06:00.

To prevent new cases of the virus, we once again call on all our citizens to comply with the requirements of the quarantine regime and medical and preventive rules, to maintain social distance, to use medical masks.
