Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation.
During the telephone conversation, Putin congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on his birthday, Gadin.Net reports quoting the Kremlin press service.
"The presidents reaffirmed their intention to strengthen the Russian-Belarusian union and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. They agreed to hold a meeting in Moscow in the coming weeks," the Kremlin said.
